Новый захватывающий проект: Sonus Faber Lilium.
Создание коллекции Olympica, выпущенной во время Мюнхене на Hi End Show 2013 года — это возвращение к традициям Sonus Faber. В 2014 году компания, основанная в Виченце, возвращается на Баварскую международную ярмарку с новым проектом для своей аудитории. Sonus faber возвращается через три года, чтобы спроектировать новую полночастотную напольную акустическую систему Hi End класса, основанную на знаниях, полученных благодаря созданию Aida: Lilium.
Инновации и технологии
Lilium был разработан, чтобы обзозначить те большие контрасты, что есть в музыке. Это синтез двух противоположных элементов: две отдельные идентичности, которые, хотя и работают независимо друг от друга, взаимодействуют внутри одной и той же формы. Создание формы, которая содержит два отдельных элемента, было большой проблемой с технической точки зрения и с дизайном. Основная проблема заключалась в необходимости найти новый способ собрать большой объем, необходимый для воспроизведения очень низких частот, со структурой, предназначенной для воспроизведения основной части слышимого спектра.
Разделение между этими двумя элементами визуально становится понятным благодаря использованию разных материалов: тонко обработанного орехового дерева для передней части и особо мягкого материала — кожи — для задней части корпуса. Мы решили принять органический стиль натуральных форм, к которым принадлежит семейство лилий.
Полученный результат является еще одним шагом вперед в стилистических и акустических исследованиях Sonus faber.
Стиль Sonus Faber
Идея двойной кривизны стенок корпуса, предложенная инженерами Sonus faber и воплощенная в Aida, в Lilium улучшена и реализована в виде контура «lyra», объединяющий две отдельные идентичности, которые взаимодействуют внутри одной и той же формы.
Сначала идеи и патенты, разработанные в Sonus faber были применены в АС Aida, а позже, интегрированы в эту необычную акустическую систему. Технология драйверов, спроектированная и разработанная в Sonus faber, делает шаг вперед в технологических инновациях.

Форма лиры
Дизайн «Lyra shape» — поступательное изменение толщины стенок корпуса с тройной кривизны, препятсвует паразитному резонансу во всем спектре частот, а ребра каркаса расположены так, что полностью исключают ложные колебания и контролируют стоячие волны.
Сабфувер
Sonus faber SW26 XT-08 — специально разработанный 260-миллиметровый НЧ-динамик, легкая конструкция конуса из жесткой бумаги и композитных материалов для максимальной жесткости, реализована в акустически аморфном пассивном радиаторе, расположенном в отдельном корпусе.
Кроссовер
Нерезонансная конструкция, оптимизированная амплитудно-фазовая характеристика для оптимальной работы пространства / времени. «Топология Paracross». Входное сопротивление на низких частотах контролируется для четкой совместной работы с усилителем.
Твиттер (ВЧ-динамик)
Sonus faber “Arrow Point” DAD (Damped Apex Dome, комбинация классического купола и кольцевого преобразователя) H28 XTR-04. Компания Sonus faber спроектировала 28-миллиметровый драйвер, с механическим интерфейсом, оптимизированным для вибраций.
СЧ-динамик
Sonus faber M18 XTR-04. Сверхмощный 180 мм динамик среднего диапазона с неодимовым магнитом. Провод CCAW используется на композитном каркасе «вихретоковой» звуковой катушке.
SUBWOOFER
Sonus faber W18XTR-16. A triple of Sonus faber designed 180 mm lightweight “sandwich” cone structure (high-tech syntactic foam core and two external surface skins of cellulose pulp) woofers are integrated in an acoustically amorphous “stealth reflex” chamber.
THE TOP
Made of tempered glass, the plate covers the Lilium’s top with the shape of the lily that gives the inspiration for the speaker’s name. You can see the passive radiator moving through the transparency, while infra-low frequencies vibrations invade the pavement, leaving the sound free to spread in the air.
DEEP LOW CONTROL
The powerful infra-woofer SW26XT-08, featuring a solid structure of soaked cellulose, works within the P.Z.I. (Pressure Zone Interface) acoustic conditions, a «ground effect» configuration that guarantees the best possible interface between the infra-low frequencies and the environment. Its output level can be adjusted through the «Deep Low Control», for a perfect integration in the environment.
DAD™ TWEETER
The DAD™ 28 XTR-04 “Arrow point” tweeter is the definitive union between the timbre of classic drivers with dome diaphragms, and the great features of a ring tweeter. This tweeter is also configured with a double rear acoustic labyrinth decompression chamber made with resonance free solid spruce wood.
TUNED MASS DAMPER™
THE STRUCTURE
Lilium is a loudspeaker system made up by two separate tuned enclosure, all totally independent from each other. The main full-range enclosure benefits from the use of the para-aperiodic Stealth reflex™ tuning system. The infra-low frequencies reproduction enclosure is implemented with our patented decoupling system Zero Vibration Transmission™, with the removal residual vibration system Tuned Mass Damper™ and with an up firing passive radiator.
BINDING POST
The terminal plates for connections allow tri-amplification and are located on two separate plates, to further underline the total independence of the front and rear cabinets.
ZERO VIBRATION TRANSMISSION™
The infra-woofer’s cabinet is mechanically decoupled from the rest of Lilium’s structure and, consequently, from the floor through the patented system Zero Vibration Transmission™. This system, optimized with progressively yielding elastomers, not only totally reduces the transmission of spurious vibrations into the listening environment, but it also inhibits any modulation between the infra-woofers and the frontal drivers, at the same time allowing the infra-woofers to function in “ground-effect”.
Thirty years of Sonus faber history and expertise are contained in this new and extraordinary project: Lilium. It is the crowning achievement of a path marked with important milestones such as Aida, Amati futura and Guarneri evolution.
Building on experience, Sonus faber has enhanced the best and the most recognizable elements of the company’s traditional approach, such as the knowledgeable use of natural materials for the transducer membranes and cabinets, regardless of the trends or fashions of the moment.
Innovation is a key feature of Lilium’s soul: all the ideas and patents developed within the Sonus faber, first, and Aida later are integrated into this new, extraordinary loudspeaker system. The particular process of refinement that we subjected many of these outstanding ideas to further expresses the unceasing research towards the attainment of continued improvement. An example is the “Z.V.T.” system, implemented with the use of innovative technology; this illustrates both the growing ability of Sonus faber to propose innovative design solutions, and the ability to take advantage of increasingly more complex and extreme technical production processes.
The drive unit technology, designed and developed entirely by Sonus faber contains a total ‘no compromise’ approach in adhering to firm sound objectives, a further example of these steps taken in innovation can be found in the DAD “arrow point” tweeter, an entirely new technology, developed by research laboratories in Vicenza, and surpassing all previous levels of high frequency performance.
The Sonus faber style, represented by the combination of tradition and innovation, could not find a better expression of harmony than the beauty of Lilium shape.
Starting from the idea of the double lateral curvature, conceptualised with the Sonus faber and Aida, an expression of structural strength, Lilium features fluidity of natural lines. This is thanks to a completely new design that reinterprets the classical “lyre” outline, merging two separate identities that cooperate inside the same design. The combination results in extraordinary grace and harmony, thanks to the organic style of the natural shapes adopted, of which the family lilium (Latin name of the lily) belongs to.
